Oyun Night watch apprehends thief, gets applauded

Tepatan area of Oyun community, Ilorin has applauded one of the community’s night watch, Sunday Babatunde for his act of bravery after he singlehandedly apprehended thieves in the community.  


In an interview with Sunday babatunde, he stated that he was on his regular duty when he noticed usual movement of some guys in the last hours of Tuesday which he trailed and caught them in the unlawful act after which he took them to the community head and they were handed over to the police. 


In an interview with Alhaji Aliu, the head of Tepatan community, he described Sunday as one of the most competent night watch that has ever worked in the community. Stating that robbery has been the major problem facing the community in the recent months. 


He furthered that few months ago before Sunday was employed, students living around the community complained on property theft and it is also known to them in the community.


He added that he is very sure the arrest of these thieves will send a signal to others that are also involved in the act and they will all be brought before the law when apprehended.

For him to catch them alone he must be a very active and strong person probably with some spiritual power as a native guy well nice one keep it going, i plead the community to get more vigilant men like Sunday Thanks ridwan for extending this to us people like us who left the community long ago can eventually come back, now that we hear the community is more safer
