CELF: Coordinators assure organiser of their support

…As Ilorin-East hosts CELF Kwara Central Dialogue series

The coordinators across the four local government areas of Kwara Central have assured the organiser of the Countryside Emerging Leaders Fellowship (CELF) of their readiness to support the programme in a bid to make it a huge success.

Speaking on behalf of other coordinators, Mr. Alfa-Nla of the Government Day Secondary School, Amule, who commended the organiser, said the Coordinators would leave no stone

unturned as all the candidates would be given a level playing field to compete for selection for the educative programme.

Mr. Alfa-Nla noted that their selection as school coordinators should be considered as a call to duty, promising that they would do everything possible to justify the confidence reposed in them by the organiser.

The dialogue series featured coordinators from four local government areas including Asa, Ilorin-East, Ilorin-West and Ilorin-South.

By:Jimoh Ridwan Oluwadamilare Some students of Kwara state polytechnic who live in Oke-Ose axis on Friday showed their grievances over their Landlord act. It was reported that the landlord of Mosadioluwa Villa at Dangiwa Oke-Ose did an ungrateful act to his students-tenants by bringing in another letting agent and demanding for another rent payment. During an interview with a marketing student of Kwara State Polytechnic Yahaya Alimat said their landlord brought in another letting agent into the house and demanded for another payment whereas the rent payment made to the former letting agent is not due yet. She furthered that the new letting agent demanded for a new payment in the presence of the landlord in which the landlord told them they will all be sent out of the house failure to meet up with the new letting agent demand, adding that they have been put under pressure to pay the rent.
