Phone repairers in Challenge has pleaded to the Federal Government that Academic Staff Union of University industrial strike must be call off saying the effect has affected their businesses.
According to them, they says that since Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have been on low patronage from their customers who are majorly the students.
Recalls that the Federal Government and ASUU since February 14 have been at loggerheads over demands of proper funding of the university educational system to a global standard.
In an interview with Mr Amiru, the Chairman of Challenge Association of Traders and Telecommunication Allied Dealers also expressed distressed at the long awaited strike refuses to be called off.
He stated that most of their goods are sold out to the students who according to him most of them are not in Ilorin.
He also complained on how Nigeria police usually treat them whenever there is conflict between their member and the customers.
They however appealed to the federal Government to look into it and do something fast on It.
