By: Akanbi Johanna Oluwafunke

The residents of Akuo and Gaa-akuo community on Friday urged the State Government to make provision of water supply for them.

During an interview with Owolabi Ridwan a student of Kwara State Polytechnic said  it has been a difficult issue for them due to poor power supply, adding that their well is not good for washing and  cooking that the only reliable source of water they have is hand borehole which is far and time consuming that they always pray for rain to fall so as to get water.

They however impulse the State Government to look into the issue and provide them with enough facilities so the environment can be conducive for the student living around the territory.
