28th Convocation: KwaraPoly Computer engineering exhibit a Protoside smart door, other equipments

The Department of Computer Engineering, Kwara State Polytechnic on Thursday exhibited a Protoside smart door and other technical equipment during the 28th convocation in 2022.


During an interview with the Engineer in charge, Mr. Kabiru Muritala, said that during the last year convocation his department show case their work by building a drone and was commissioned by the Deputy Governor of kwara state, Kayode Alabi.

Mr kabiru also said that this year exhibition is a Protoside smart door machine which can can be installed and configured into a smart door car that will help to open and close your door without touching the door and also a remote censor machine that works with a hand expansion which turn music on. 


“While constracting it backward the music volume will reduce with the use of a model and camera”, he said.

He further said that this year exhibition includes ; a metal detector,home automation,smart irrigation system, and gas leakage detector.

​ Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Mass Communication has embarked on a 3-days Advertising Campaign to celebrate the Rector, Engr. KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution.
