The consultative dialogue is aimed at discussing the CELF objectives and focus with the stakeholders with a view to addressing some of the challenges being encountered by the organiser.

Earlier in his presentation, the chairman, mobilisation and selection committee, Mr. Mawobe Salihu took participants through the concept of community development, urging them to be worthy ambassadors of their immediate communities.

Also, the CELF Publicity Secretary, Mr. Abdulrasheed Saadudeen explained to the participants objectives, process, format as well as the expected outcomes of the initiative.

The consultative dialogue, which kickstarted in Kwara South a week ago, was rounded off in Kwara North on Saturday as coordinators and students from two schools selected from each of the five local government areas of the district participated in the exercise.

It would be recalled that CELF is an annual fellowship programme aimed at empowering young people on four thematic areas including community development, self development, entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability.

While on a two-week camp, fellows would be assigned to different tasks through which they would be assessed as the most outstanding fellows would be awarded scholarships to study any course of their choice in a public institution in Nigeria.
