KwaraPoly: Abdul sets for another Collaboration

The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, Engr. Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad in company of some members of Management and Staff today visited Mantrac CAT Ikeja, Lagos State on a facility tour to seek areas of common interest and partnership.


Receiving the Rector and his team, the Managing Director Mantrac CAT Lagos office Ahmed Raghab, said he was overwhelmed by the gesture adding that it takes only focused and visionary leadership to orchestrate such collaboration.


Speaking further, the General Manager in charge of machine sales, Mr Mohammed Ibrahim described the Polytechnic as a pathfinder, stressing that this is the first time they will receive an institution with such brilliant proposals. 



He therefore expressed optimism to assist Kwara State Polytechnic and indeed Kwara State Government in the Areas of training and operations.


Earlier, the Technical Training Manager of Matract-CAT, Mr Lateef Adenle conducted the team round the company's facility inorder to ascertain areas of exploration in the collaborative drive.


It is therefore sufficient to state that, by the time this collaboration kicks off, staff and students of the Polytechnic especially from the Institute of Technology would benefit immensely from the newest move of the Rector in acquiring skills and competencies to handle machines usable for quarry, agriculture, mining, road construction, oil and gas.
