Residents of Eleko community area of ilorin, have cried out as the continuous heavy downpour damage their roads, adding that it had been hard for the residents in the area especially those with cars and motorcycle, parking their properties somewhere outside the area which is not safe.
In an interview with a resident, Miss Mariam Salam, she lamented on how erosion is taking over her house gate which is very risky for people living in the house because it might collapse with the rate heavy rain without a proper drainage.
The residents however appeal to the Head of the Community and local government to make provision of sufficient drainage system in the community to stop unnecessary erosion and safe their roads.
