Ara community Laments On Bad roads and Construction of drainage system

By:ISSA MARDEEYAT MOROMOKE

Residents of Ara community, Ilorin, Kwara State have lamented over lack of good road and drainage system in the area.

It was gathered that one of the major challenges of the community is bad road and lack of drainage system within the community which has greatly affected business and transport within the environment. The road gets worst during rainy seasons as all possible routes are being greatly affected by the rain leaving the road unbearable

Speaking with one of the resident of the community Mr Abdulrahaman Isiaka, said motorists, students and indigenes of the community are greatly affected by the damages caused by the road to their vehicles, adding that students also share in the plight as getting bike to Junction becomes difficult because transport workers mostly avoid the road and they did not allow them to pass inside school.

They however urged Government to look into the matter of the road and gutters and help them reconstruct.
