Kwarapoly Staff gets New Minimum Wage

As part of its welfare package for the staff, the Governing Council of the Polytechnic has approved the new minimum wage for its staff.


A statement issued and signed by the Principal Assistant Registrar, Council Affairs, Mrs. Adewumi Bridget on behalf of the Registrar, Mr. Kolawole Sheye Akande, stated that the council approved 90 percent CONPCASS / CONTEDISS  for both Academic and Non Academic Staff of the institution after due deliberation on the report of the Council Ad-hoc Committee on minimum wage.


The implementation of the new minimum wage according to the statement is with effect from 1st  October, 2022.


In a chart wit the Rector of the institution, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed, urged the staff to be loyal and dedicated to duty in order to justify the salary they earn.


Abdul commended the Chairman Governing Council, Hon. Yahaya Ahmed Yinusa and his team for considering the increament, stressing that Council's approval of the new minimum wage is a testimony that the council will surely leave an enviable legacy for its successors.

Power supply has always been one of the challenges we face in Nigeria right from onset, aside from the community not in any way benefitting 100% electricity Nigeria as a country has lost so many investment from foreigners investors, exact another reason why the government should aggressively address the area of power supply so that the citizen can comply and have no reason to reject sorting out of electricity bill .
