KwaraPoly Benjamin Feranmi emerges Vice Chairman at Kwara NANS JCC Convention

A student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Public Administration, Institute of Finance and Management Studies, Comrade Benjamin Feranmi also known as “fortunate”, on Friday emerged as the Vice Chairman Academics at the just concluded National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee (JCC) convention. 


Comrade Yusuf Gafar, a students of University of Ilorin also emerged as the association’s Chairman.

Feranmi who had 21 votes from the 21 delegates available at the convention was announced the winner after the conclusion of the convention which was held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara State Council, has 21 delegates. 


In an interview with Prime News, Benjamin said the welfarism of all students of Kwara State will be his top priority and will strive heard to be the voice of the voiceless.

Benjamin who was a former candidate for NANS JCC Chairman, said he dropped the agenda when had no support from his institution’s president and critical stakeholders who instead prioritize the ambition of his opponents who is also from his institution. 


The elected Vice Chairman however advised Kwara State Students should always prioritize their primary assignment and should not be carried away with other activities, adding that they should also chase whatever they have passion for.
