Olohungbebe bags merit award at NAKSS OSPOLY Kwara Day


Mr. Fatiu Olohungbebe, a lecturer from Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Mass Communication on Friday bagged a meritorious award at the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Chapter Kwara Day themed “Harmony Day ‘22 & Handling 


Olohungbebe who was double honored as the Father of the day and Guest Speaker on the topic “Role of Youth in Development of Our FatherLand And The Nation” advised Kwara State youth to live an impactful life. 


During his Speech, the Guest Speaker said that it is natural they experienced painful process before they become someone in new life, adding that it is part of life challenges.

The Guest Speaker charged the youth to always have good intentions towards their superior, saying that good minds will take them to their desired destination. 



Olohungbebe however commended the NAKSS body on their effort to maintain and sustain the body despite being in another state. 


Earlier in his welcoming address, the outgoing NAKSS President, OSPOLY Chapter, Comr. Jimoh Ridwan, welcomed Kwara State Students who graced the event, saying that they are true patriot.

He also commended his executive for their support since the inception of their administration, adding that they have represented their fatherland excellently. 




Comrade Ridwan furthered charged the incoming executive on righteousness, good behavior and transparency in piloting the affairs of the student body.

KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution.
