50th Anniversary: Kwara Poly Rector Inducted By Observers NewsWatch


In recognition of his priceless contributions and ongoing total overhauling of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Observers Newswatch has presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to the Rector of the Citadel of Learning, Engr (Dr) Jimoh Abdul. 


The programme which was lined up for the commemoration of the institution's Golden Jubilee, featured the Rector's induction into the Hall of Fame of the Observers NewsWatch. 


The well-attended ceremony which was held at the Hospitality Department Conference Hall was organised in honour of the Rector who is also doubled as the sole inductee by the prestigious media organisation. 


“This is in recognition and appreciation of your dedication to official matters, mobile dynamism in the adoption of contemporary management principles in Nigeria's Education Sector most especially in Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin”, the organizers stated. 


Dr Abdul in his address described Observers NewsWatch as a recognised body which is held in high esteem by professionals in both public and private sectors because of its core values and principles. 


He thanked the media group for the honour, and appreciate God Almighty who has endowed him greatly, intellectually and morally enablement to attain this rare feat. 


The inductee stressed that the organisation helps in boosting a person's profile and validate their skills and experiences both as individuals and as a corporate organisation. 


He reiterated that the Polytechnic community is quite combined in the objectives of the organisation and the landmark achievements they have made globally and in Nigeria while praying to God to provide the enabling resources to consolidate well in the country. 


Dr Abdul has received several different awards for excellent performance. He has a plethora of achievements marked by awards in different shapes, sizes and body dimensions meticulously arranged on the Rector's office table from diverse organizations within and across the country.
