About Twenty- Six (26) Elementary Schools have been confirmed to have registered for the Elementary School Quiz contest 1.0 organized by SWOT Team Organization for Educational Development, Kwara State Axis.
This was confirmed by the Director General, Ambassador Muheebudeen Logun, who was represented by the Deputy Director General, Alamu Rofiat at a Press Conference held yesterday.
Alamu explained that they have sent their letters to hundred and plus schools and twenty-six(26) of them have registered through the link provided, adding that they are still expecting 200 plus participants from almost hundred schools.
She said she believed that education is the foundation of progress, innovation, and competitions like that plays an important role in fostering a culture of learning and intellectual curiosity, adding that it is encouraging to see so many young people challenging themselves and pushing their limits in the pursuit of knowledge.
The Deputy Director General said do not doubt that there will be some impressive displays of intellect and creativity.
“The future belongs to those who are willing to work hard and think outside the box, and I am confident that the pupils that will be participating in this competition embody those qualities”, she said.
Alamu therefore advised participants to give their all, embrace the challenge, and should not be afraid to take risks and make mistakes.
“That is how we learn, and that's how we grow. Most importantly, have fun. Learning should be a joyful experience, and I hope that today’s competition inspires you to continue exploring the world around you with curiosity and wonder”, she added.
The Deputy Director General who congratulated the participants for their willing to participate in the quiz competition, however wishes them the best in their future endeavors.
