Second Term: KWSPHCDA Boss, Elelu Congratulates Gov. AbdulRahman

​ The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA), Dr Nusirat Elelu, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, on his re-election for a second term in office.  Dr Elelu commended the governor for his visionary leadership, which has transformed the fortunes of Kwara State and brought about rapid development in various sectors across the state. NAMCOS Legislative Council honors Olufadi with certificate of appreciation

​ The Leadership of National Association of Mass Communication Students Legislative body ably let by Rt. Hon. KwaraPoly: IICT Legislative Body set to empower students with working tools

​ The Students Parliamentary Council, Information and Communications Technology Students Association (ICTSA), Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin said it is set to empower students of the institute with tools that can aid them in their course of workmanship.  In a statement by the The Rt. Hon. Speaker, Hon. Lekan Tajudeen, signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Hon. Shifau Olanrewaju, four (4) students have been selected to benefits from the program.  Hon. Rector Commiserates with Governor, Oloffa over Oyawoye's Death

​ The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has described  the death of Prof. Jamiu Mosobalaje Olaloye Oyawoye as a massive loss to humanity. The Rector in a condolence message  described the founding chairman of the Kwara State College of Technology ( Kwara State Polytechnic) as a God fearing scholar who lived his life with full commitment and dedication to the propagation of Islam. Kwarapoly Library and Information Science Dept Organizes Seminar, Workshop For Staff, Students

Kwara wins NGF healthcare delivery award, rated best state in North Central

​ Kwara State has been rated the best state in basic healthcare delivery in the entire North Central region, beating Abuja the Federal Capital Territory and other North Central states, to clinch the first position.  At an event held in Abuja on Wednesday night, the state won the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF)’s Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge award for the improvement recorded in the sector in the last four years.  The NGF Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge was consumated in 2019 as part of the 'Seatle Declaration', which assesses overall performance of primary healthcare delivery using indicators like ‘government’s support and commitment, quality of service delivery, improvement in the health indices and outcomes, community participation and ownership, among others’.  Commissioner for Health Dr Raji Razaq and the Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Nusirat Elelu received the award on behalf of the state.  Go...

Kwara Poly Hosts BURSCON Conference After Eleven Year’s

​ The 47th Bursar Regular Meetings of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technologies (BURSCON) were recently held at Kwara State Polytechnic in Ilorin, marking the second time in eleven years that the institution hosted the event.   The meeting which was termed BURSCON 2023 saw the gathering of bursars of various schools, NBTE representatives and others at the occasion. The Kwara State Polytechnic rector, Engr. 26 Schools registered for Elementary School Quiz Contest 1.0, expecting more - SWOT TOED

​ About Twenty- Six (26) Elementary Schools have been confirmed to have registered for the Elementary School Quiz contest 1.0 organized by SWOT Team Organization for Educational Development, Kwara State Axis.  This was confirmed by the Director General, Ambassador Muheebudeen Logun, who was represented by the Deputy Director General, Alamu Rofiat at a Press Conference held yesterday.  Alamu explained that they have sent their letters to hundred and plus schools and twenty-six(26) of them have registered through the link provided, adding that they are still expecting 200 plus participants from almost hundred schools.  She said she believed that education is the foundation of progress, innovation, and competitions like that plays an important role in fostering a culture of learning and intellectual curiosity, adding that it is encouraging to see so many young people challenging themselves and pushing their limits in the pursuit of knowledge. Kwara Poly Marks 50th Anniversary With "Chameleon Love" Movie Premiere

​ The entire staff and students of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, today hosted the general public to the screening of the remarkable play titled, Chameleon Love, as part of the activities slated to mark the institution's Golden Jubilee.  Chameleon Love, is a story that appeals to a lot of young people as it relates to actual scenarios that happen in their lives. This short film also has an epic plot twist that keeps the audience dazed. The movie which was premiered at the Real Admiral Muhammed Lawal Auditorium, had in attendance the management team of the polytechnic as led by the Rector, Dr Jimoh Abdul Muhammad with an audience of over 2000 students in attendance. 50th Anniversary: KwaraPoly kickstarts Activities To Mark celebrations With Special Inter-Faith Prayers

​ Activities to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin commenced on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, with special inter-faith prayers at the institution's Central Mosque and Christian Fellowship Prayer Ground respectively.   The curtain-raiser provided an opportunity for the leadership of the two religious bodies to pray fervently for the institution and offer words of advice and encouragement to all members of the Polytechnic community.
