Sango/Elekoyangan protesters are not students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Management disclaims

The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic has disclaimed a report saying that the Polytechnic students are protesting along Sango / Elekoyangan Area over electricity matter.

The Management in a statement signed by the Public Relation Officer, Mrs. Halimat Garba, stated that the protest was staged by members of the neighbouring communities who are said to be protesting over power failure in their communities.

The statement read that “ Please note that the Polytechnic Students are presently on break, as the institution is preparing to commence a new Academic Session”.

She however advised all Polytechnic stakeholders and members of the public to be guided by this information and always verify anything tagged with the Polytechnic before circulating.
