Kwara State Polytechnic is not only regarded as fundamental Institution in promoting student learning and facilitating the achievement of academic goals, but also regarded as efficacious in leading to up-gradation of the overall system of education. 


Students needs to possess constructive viewpoints in terms of various aspects of academics and overall educational institutions.Therefore, it can be stated, that academic activities need to be beneficial to the students, belonging to all grade levels within the course of pursuance.


To display their level of commitment  in giving her students the best form of learning throughout the country, Kwara State Polytechnic is promoting student learning, leading to their effective growth and development, helping them to emerge into moral and ethical human beings and productive citizens of the country and facilitating enhancement of their career prospects.

Our dear Polytechnic that we are so proud of has also provided for the students conducive environment to enhance learning and provisions of different equipment to aid learning. 


Among measures that the polytechnic has put in place to promote academic activities in the polytechnic includes;


Teamwork which is to encourage 

students within the course of implementation on knowing how to work as a team with various group assignments and projects. 


In these team works, students tends to learn how to generate information in terms of various methods and approaches; exchanging ideas and viewpoints; alleviating work pressure; developing motivation towards the implementation of job duties; curbing the feelings of apprehensiveness and vulnerability; augmenting information regarding modern, technical and pioneering methods; providing solutions to various problems in an appropriate manner; forming sociable terms and relationships with others; carrying out job duties successfully and achieving educational goals in a well-ordered manner. 


Debates: in Kwara State Polytechnic, students are encouraged to participate in debates as it augment knowledge and abilities among students as well as hone their communication skills and interactive abilities.


Group Discussions: The students are given the opportunities to express their ideas and viewpoints in group discussions. In some cases, the students may have same viewpoints, whereas, in other cases, they may disagree with others. This also enhances academic activities. 


Kwara State Polytechnic can not be underrated when it comes to academics. It’s an institution for great minded students, erudite scholars and visionary leaders of tomorrow.

​ Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Mass Communication has embarked on a 3-days Advertising Campaign to celebrate the Rector, Engr.
