Dr Nusirat Elelu Mourns KWASU VC, Prof. Akanbi

The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency. Dr Nusirat Elelu has mourned the sudden demise of KWASU VC. Prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi SAN who died recently in Lagos.

She described the Professor of Law as an erudite scholar and humble servant of Allah who sacrificed his life for human capital and community development.

She extended her condolences to the family, relatives, Ilorin Emirate, Kwara state government, university community and bar association.

"Only Him takes and gives, may He forgive his shortcomings. May Allah be pleased with his return and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss", she prayed

The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others. According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties. In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school.
