Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin to Celebrate 10th Anniversary with IICT 2024 International Conference

The Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The institute will commemorate this landmark event by hosting the IICT 2024 International Conference from June 24th to June 27th, 2024, at the prestigious Mohammed Lawal Auditorium within the polytechnic’s campus. The conference, themed “Leveraging Information & Communication Technology for Entrepreneurial Possibilities,” aims to delve into the transformative impact of ICT on entrepreneurial initiatives. ILORIN DURBAR: A Historic Celebration

Indigenes and non-indigenes alike gathered before the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR), to commemorate Durbar and reconnect not only with the people and friends of Ilorin Emirate but also with their cultural heritage, reminding them of their glorious past to further promote and preserve the people's increasingly vanishing cultural heritage. Durbar festival is usually celebrated on the second day following Eid-Fitri. It begins with prayers, is followed by a horse-drawn parade of the Emir and his entourage, accompanied by musicians, and concludes at the Emir's palace. Durbar festivals are held in cities such as Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Zaria, and Bida, which are popular tourist destinations. Eid Celebrations: Dr. Nusirat Elelu Rejoices With Muslims Ummah

​ The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA) DR. Nusirat Elelu rejoices with Muslim Ummah on the celebration of Eid-L-Adha. ​ The Kwara State Polytechnic Rector, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has bagged an excellence award during the Rotary Presidential Dinner and Awards night recently held at Crystal House, Ilorin. UNDP Partners Kwara Poly To Sensitize Students On Youth Program

​ The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has reaffirmed his administration's commitment towards ensuring that the institution turns out self-reliant graduates who are employers of labour. Abdul stated this while receiving the Tetfund Advisory Committee Team on Skills Development who were on an assessment visit to the Polytechnic Skills Acquisition and Development Centre.
