KwaraPoly: ICTSA Speaker Honors Members With Certificate of Appreciation

As part of the activities to mark the end of his tenure, the Speaker, Information and Communication Technology Students Association (ICTSA), Rt. Hon. AbdulQudus Lekan Tajudeen (DaGeneral) on Thursday, honored the honorable members of the Students Parliamentary Council (SPC) with award of appreciation. 


The award which was presented to eleven (11) honorables that made up the legislative council by the Staff Adviser, Mr. Fatiu Olohungbebe in his office, was because of their commitment and dedication towards development and success of the institute. 


During the presentation, Olohungbebe commended the body, saying that programs and activities accomplished by the body has set a standard and record down for others to emulate. 


He however charged the body to be transparent and just in the zoning of positions to each department, saying it will determine the unity and peace that will coexist within the department in the next administration. 


The awardees are; The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Lekan Tajudeen; Clerk, Hon. Akomolafe Idris; Deputy Speaker, Hon. Gbolahan Sunday; Deputy Clerk, Hon. Awoyera Adesewa; Chief Whip, Hon. AbdulRazak Sodiq; Mace Bearer, Hon. Ajisafe Sunday. 


Other members of the house are; Department of Mass Communication’s Speaker, Hon. Ibrahim Shukurat; Department of Computer Science Speaker, Hon. Ayoola Dayo; Department of Office Technology and Management Speaker, Hon. Thanni Jamiu. 


Other appointees include; Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Hon. Olanrewaju Shifau and Personal Assistant to the Speaker, Hon. AbdulAzeez Jamiu.

​ Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Mass Communication has embarked on a 3-days Advertising Campaign to celebrate the Rector, Engr. KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution.
