Ramadan: GCF team visits orphanage home in kwara, makes donations

As part of her calorie call to always put smiles on the faces of the less privileged (The Needy), The Golden Charity Foundation (GCF) team, visited the kwara state orphanage home situated at pipeline area Gaa Akanbi Ilorin , Kwara state, on Saturday, 15th of April 2023.


The GCF Team led by the founder/President Miss Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim, were warmly welcomed by the orphanage home management, Mrs Abdulkareem one of the matron of the orphanage home, enlightened the GCF team on the categories of children they have in their custody, which includes Abandon children, lost but found children, Abused children, children who their mother are facing mental health challenges among many others, it’s was an interactive session between the GCF team and the orphanage home management.




In a relevant development, the founder/ president of Golden Charity Foundation, miss Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim stated that, the primary aim of the foundation is to always put smiles on the faces of less privileged (The Needy), adding that, visitation to orphanage home during Ramadan to make donations is one of the foundation tradition.


She added that, most of the sponsors and donors are students of higher institutions, however appreciates the management of the orphanage home for welcoming them, while she prayed for individuals, volunteers and cooperate body that supported them, and called on philanthropist to support the foundation.



In response to that, Mrs Abdulkareem appreciated the GCF team for taking out of the little they had to support the orphans, while she prayed for the progress of the NGO and every persons that contributed to the success of the foundation.


Items donated includes, clothes, provisions, food stuff and other necessities of life.

KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution.
