Eid-el-Fitr: Kwara Primary Health Care Executive Secretary, Elelu felicitates Muslim faithful


The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA). Dr Nusirat Elelu congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-Fitr celebrations.


Elelu, in her Sallah message, commended the efforts of the state government led by Governor AbdulRahmon AbdulRazaq for sustaining the state in the face of its numerous challenges. 



She urged the Muslim faithful to imbibe the lesson of sacrifice that Eid-el-Fitr symbolises.

According to her, “The period of Eid-el-Fitr celebration is a time to embrace the virtues of love, peace, unity, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), during and after the celebrations.”


Elelu appealed to governments at all levels to be more mindful of their primary responsibility of securing lives and property.


Adding that “the primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property under its care".


She, however, urged Nigerians not to cease praying for Nigeria, noting that the purpose of Allah shall prevail for the country.


Elelu expressed hope that with divine intervention and continued support of Nigerians for the government, Nigeria will soon overcome the challenges.
