IFTAR with NAYLL 1.0: Kwarapoly NAYLL feeds over 30 students during Ramadan


As part of their objectives in providing assistance for students of the Polytechnic, The New Africa Youth Leadership League (NAYLL), Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter, on Wednesday provided Ramadan package for over 30 selected students of the institution.

  The association in their program tagged “IFTAR with NAYLL” which was held at LR 41 Institute of Basic Applied and Science(IBAS) building shared rice to some of the students as to ease their difficulties in this holy month.

 The President of the association, Lekan Tajudeen who was represented by the General Secretary, Shukurat Ibrahim, in her opening remark, said that the program is designed to support students during the month, stressing that it became possible with the help and donations from corporate bodies and individuals. 

She furthered that the association also helped a patient in the hospital with little funds for medication, adding that despite their effort to do more than that, they could not not raise much funds to expand the packages. 

Shukurat however who called on Nigerians and philanthropist to always keen into humanitarian services, also urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of this holy month of Ramadan to prayed for their sponsors and donors.

 In their response, one of the beneficiaries Ebuka Ugbaja, described the gesture as a kind one, which serve as a means of putting smiles on the faces of students who are not opportune to observe fasting in their comfort zones, prayed to God to continue to bless the association for their kind gesture extended to the students.

KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. Jimoh Abdul Muhammed on Thursday commissioned the Department of Accountancy lecture room renovated by the Kwarapoly Accountancy Students Alumni Association (KASAA), 1996 set.  The Rector in his address, commended National Association of Polytechnic Accountancy Students (NAPAS) 1996 alumni set for taking the leadership to renovate the lecture room for the students, saying it is the first alumni project since his inception in office.  Engr.
