Kwarapoly Felicitates with the Emir of Ilorin @ 83

​ The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic,Ilorin, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed on behalf of the entire Polytechnic community has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zulkarnain Gambari CFR, who is also  the Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, on his eventful 83rd birthday. Eid-el-Fitr: Kwara Primary Health Care Executive Secretary, Elelu felicitates Muslim faithful

​ The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA). Dr Nusirat Elelu congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-Fitr celebrations. Elelu, in her Sallah message, commended the efforts of the state government led by Governor AbdulRahmon AbdulRazaq for sustaining the state in the face of its numerous challenges.  She urged the Muslim faithful to imbibe the lesson of sacrifice that Eid-el-Fitr symbolises. According to her, “The period of Eid-el-Fitr celebration is a time to embrace the virtues of love, peace, unity, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), during and after the celebrations.” Elelu appealed to governments at all levels to be more mindful of their primary responsibility of securing lives and property. Ramadan: GCF team visits orphanage home in kwara, makes donations

​ As part of her calorie call to always put smiles on the faces of the less privileged (The Needy), The Golden Charity Foundation (GCF) team, visited the kwara state orphanage home situated at pipeline area Gaa Akanbi Ilorin , Kwara state, on Saturday, 15th of April 2023. The GCF Team led by the founder/President Miss Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim, were warmly welcomed by the orphanage home management, Mrs Abdulkareem one of the matron of the orphanage home, enlightened the GCF team on the categories of children they have in their custody, which includes Abandon children, lost but found children, Abused children, children who their mother are facing mental health challenges among many others, it’s was an interactive session between the GCF team and the orphanage home management. IFTAR with NAYLL 1.0: Kwarapoly NAYLL feeds over 30 students during Ramadan

As part of their objectives in providing assistance for students of the Polytechnic, The New Africa Youth Leadership League (NAYLL), Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter, on Wednesday provided Ramadan package for over 30 selected students of the institution.   The association in their program tagged “IFTAR with NAYLL” which was held at LR 41 Institute of Basic Applied and Science(IBAS) building shared rice to some of the students as to ease their difficulties in this holy month.  The President of the association, Lekan Tajudeen who was represented by the General Secretary, Shukurat Ibrahim, in her opening remark, said that the program is designed to support students during the month, stressing that it became possible with the help and donations from corporate bodies and individuals.  She furthered that the association also helped a patient in the hospital with little funds for medication, adding that despite their effort to do more than that, they could...

Dr. Nusirat Elelu, being a prestigious leader beyond a child's play or a position to be toyed with, it requires a lot of sacrifices, and only a strong and courageous individual like you can take the bull by it horns.
