Education: Ali Ahmad Foundation sponsors Kwara Students on 2-month Broadcasting Training


In a bid to support the core mandate of education and skill acquisition towards the advancement of youth in Kwara state, a Non-Governmental Organization, The Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF) has sponsored seven students for the two-month Broadcasting Mastery training. 


The two-month Media training is a brainchild of Shuks Broadcast Mastery powered by a young and enterprising female journalist, Miss Shukurat Yakub who is also a Mass Communication graduate from the Kwara State Polytechnic. 


A statement by the Director of Media and Publicity for The Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF), Miss Mujeebat Kehinde Adewole reiterated the Non-Govermental Organization’s commitment to social reforms, quality education and self-employment for the youth constituency through skill-development training, stressing that the effort is part of the service to humanity. 


The Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF) is a conglomerate of community service volunteers which was established to provide support for talented and motivated individuals, including the less privileged; both old and young - recognising Community Development, Education, Social Services, Skill Acquisition, and Empowerment as a driver of social mobility and economic advancement. 


Mujeebah restated that this Broadcasting Mastery sponsorship was provided by the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation, Rt. Hon. Prof. Ali Ahmad is an aid targeted at talented and highly motivated higher education students who regardless of their financial circumstances are desirous for skill acquisition and self-reliance upon graduation. 


For her part, the Founder of Shuks Broadcast Mastery and organizer of the two-month Broadcasting Mastery Session, Shukurat Yakub, commended the effort of the foundation for extending their altruism to make sure that youths participate in life-changing activities such as the training. 


The young and enterprising  Broadcaster, however, assured of providing a premium service to the registered participants. 


She, therefore, charged other philanthropists, politicians, and humanitarians, to support and emulate the giant stride of Prof Ali Ahmad Foundation in contributing their quota to the development of the youths in Kwara State.
