Olohungbebe rejoices with Muslims at Ramadan


The Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to the Kwara State Governor, Dr Lawal Olohungbebe, rejoices with Muslim community on the occasion of Ramadan, the ninth lunar month of the Islamic Calendar, in which fasting is mandated on adult and healthy Muslim.


In a statement by his media team, Dr Olohungbebe expressed gratitude to Allah and felicitates the leader in the state,  Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and the Muslim faithful on the dawn of the month.


He enjoins the faithful to shun any act capable of rendering their fast invalid, urging them to demonstrate the best of characters by giving more charities to the vulnerable and supporting the less privileged in their communities. 


The Governor's aide appeals to the faithful to pray for the state and Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq~led administration in his quest to provide qualitative leadership and all~inclusive development for all Kwarans. 


He prays Allah to accept the fast as an act of worship and grant the faithful the opportunity to maximize the rewards associated with good deeds in the month of Ramadan.

​ Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Department of Mass Communication has embarked on a 3-days Advertising Campaign to celebrate the Rector, Engr. KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution.
