​ The Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde has commended the Kwara State Polytechnic for its productive service delivery.  The Commissioner gave the commendation during her familiarization visit to the Polytechnic today. ​ The staff of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin have expressed unreserved joy and appreciation to the state governor, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq over the rice palliative which they described as a philanthropic gesture by the governor.  Speaking on behalf of the Polytechnic community, the Rector, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed disclosed that the 180 bags of rice given to the Polytechnic will put smile on the faces of the staff just as other numerous palliatives of the state government have brought succor to many kwarans. Abdul who commended the free bus rides initiative of the government and #10,000 monthly palliative for state workers  stressed that the rice given to the Polytechnic will also neutralize the effects of subsidy removal on the staff of the institution.
