Kwarapoly Rector Congratulates Gov. Abdulrahman on Conferment of Sardauna of Ilorin.

The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has disclosed that the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title of Sardauna Ngeri of Ilorin on His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari CFR is a testament to the governor's sterling leadership quality, positive impact and dedication to his community.

The Rector in a congratulatory message signed by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mrs. Halimat Garba, described the honour as a call to higher service and a recognition of Governor AbdulRahman's commitment to the growth and development of Ilorin cultural heritage in particular and Kwara as a whole.

Engr. Abdul stressed that the Polytechnic community is confident that this new title will spur the Governor to continue to serve the people of Kwara State and humanity in general.

He commended the thoughtfulness of the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari CFR by appointing a worthy ambassador of the Emirate as the second Sardauna of Ilorin.

He also pray that Allah guides Governor AbdulRahman, grant him strength, sound health and longevity to serve his community, the state and Nigeria selflessly, and that his leadership continue to bring peace, prosperity, and progress to all kwarans.
