New Year: Elelu congratulates Kwarans, seeks sustained confidence in health interventions


The Executive Secretary of Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA), Dr. Nusirat Elelu has congratulated the residents of Kwara State on the dawn of a  new year, assuring them of unwavering commitment to building resilient healthcare system that guarantees equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare services


Elelu, in the new year message, appreciated the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his consistent support which she said reinforces their performance and brings about seamless implementation of unprecedented health initiatives to impact the lives of the people and promote the general wellness.


" We thank God for bringing us safely to the end of an eventful year and congratulate the residents of Kwara State for witnessing the dawn of a new year filled with prospects of unrivaled development and greater accomplishments."

While thanking the traditional institution, community leaders and other stakeholders for their collective efforts to put paid to the misinformation peddled by mischievous elements to incite resistance to vaccines, Eleu urges the general public to remain undaunted and sustain their confidence in the safety and efficacy of the immunization programs and other health interventions.

KwaraPoly: Students commends management for new development

​ By: LUKMAN ROKEEB OLAIDE The Students of Kwara State Polytechnic has commend the effort of the rector, Dr Abdul Jimoh Muhammad over there aiming for prosperity and implore them not to relent on there administration. The Students also commends their efforts on new development in the campus such as the solar street light, the diagnostic center amongst others.  According to one of the students, Saliu Ibrahim from quantity survey opines that the management should have the monitoring teams in which will helps to curb the abuse of the school properties.  In the same vein, another student, Aliyu Muhammad from Urban and Regional Planning said the rector has really done a lot and even they are trying there best towards renewing the school. The students therefore urge the rector and school management to extend the solar street light to Yankari and other places in the institution. Jimoh Abdul Muhammed on Thursday commissioned the Department of Accountancy lecture room renovated by the Kwarapoly Accountancy Students Alumni Association (KASAA), 1996 set.  The Rector in his address, commended National Association of Polytechnic Accountancy Students (NAPAS) 1996 alumni set for taking the leadership to renovate the lecture room for the students, saying it is the first alumni project since his inception in office.  Engr.
