International Women’s Day: SWOT nominates Dikko, Toyin, Olufadi-Ahmed, others for international awards
As part of their effort in celebrating women in the society, the SWOT Team Organization For Educational Development has nominated Dr. Fatimah Bintu Dikko (Nigeria), Pharmacist Haishat Yetunde Olufadi-Ahmed (Nigeria), Pastor Mrs. Adekanye Toyin (Nigeria), Ambassador Smilymukta Ghoshal (America), and 22 others for an international award for their commitment and sacrifice towards fighting for gender equality and to mark the year 2023 International Women’s Day (IWD).
The team in a press release signed by the President, Yusuf Abdulquadir Eleburuike and Copies made available to Prime News, said that the affirmation names are worth of emulation as they were all nominated through their efforts in advocation for Gender Equality.
In the statement, the president noted that the award is categorized as an International Award, adding that the nomination cut across 14 countries which include; America, India, NIGERIA, United Kingdom TUNISIA, CROATIA, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Armenia, Kosovo, Cairo Egypt, Gambia, and France
The nominees of the award are;

Abdulquadir said the aim of the celebration is to continue raising greater awareness about issues impacting women's equality, taking a stance to call out inequality while working to forge positive action, highlighting and applauding where important gains are being made and celebrating women's achievements and accomplishments.
Parts of the statement read that “ the International Women’s Day is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political”
“Let's all honor, respect and adore all the amazing women in the world on this international women's day. We appreciate your commitment, sacrifices and achievement so far in the building up a world for both Gender (Gender Equality)”
“We hereby say a big thanks to all Mother's of all children for all what you have been doing to the nation, thank you for taking it to an unexpected stages, thank you fo having the motive to help others” he said.
SWOT Team Education Development is a Community base organization founded with the aims of enhancing development in the educational sector by distributing learning materials to primary school pupils and secondary School students, organizing Career talk, extra moral lesson, summit, symposium among others, and have contributed immensely to education department in the state over the years.
